Amit’s first entrepreneurial endeavor began during his early undergrad years as a Computer Science Major at NJIT.
He started his first business endeavor selling books out of a dorm room on Half.com (later bought by eBay), the side hustle grew into a full fledged eCommerce business. At the same time, he also worked with ASA College in NYC, where he managed and initiated their online department and had a staff of 22 teachers reporting to him. These experiences led Amit to found DotcomWeavers, which grew from a Web Design company into a full-blown Web & eCommerce Solutions provider.
Amit has also served as Expert Guest Columnist for The Huffington Post, The Business Journal and more. On the side, he also owns two local Indian restaurants: Tandoori Chef and Tandoori Chef 2.
More than 14 years ago, Mayank and Amit put their heads together and started DotcomWeavers – but it wasn’t without a journey along the way.
Mayank Agarwal is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at DotcomWeavers, and his strengths and talents lend themselves to technological problem-solving expertise for both his team and clients.
As a natural-born problem solver, Mayank picked up IT as a hobby in the late 1990s. He gained experience working with websites when they were first getting started, which made for a lot of learning in a quickly evolving and fast-paced industry. What began as a fun way to help friends build personal websites turned into a business venture with his then-friend, now-brother-in-law, Amit.
Mayank has his MBA degree and heads the delivery team in India of 90+ developers. He is the expert on all things technology; and is a part of every project, from website code and development to offering insight on available technologies and what new solutions can be built to solve client roadblocks.
When he’s not in the office, you can find Mayank traveling with his wife and twins, serving up a win on the tennis courts, or exploring the world of adventure sports (yes, we mean skydiving). Mayank is passionate about his role in helping clients solve problems and always makes sure to deliver the family-focused feel of DotcomWeavers to every business he has the pleasure of working with.

As the Chief Delivery Officer, Malay gets to do just that – deliver projects to clients on time, on budget, and with all of the loose ends tied up in a neat bow. His years of experience make him a perfect fit for this role, from decades in the data information industry to direct experience as a project manager at DotcomWeavers.
His ability to see big pictures and strategize solutions to any kind of problem allows Malay to help clients navigate their road bumps and come out stronger on the other side. You can think of Malay as the backbone that keeps projects moving and clients up to speed.
Bringing out the best in both team members and the clients he works with, Malay loves interacting directly with people and helping them achieve their full potential: on a project, in their business, or on personal levels.
Outside of the office, Malay enjoys sports of all kinds, especially tennis and basketball, hanging out with his friends and family, listening to music, and traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures.

Through years of learning and many different roles and positions, Kris brings a unique approach to communication and storytelling: from the way he works with clients to the work he does for clients. His background in journalism and experience in merchant website development and promotion allows Kris to not only talk the talk but also help his clients do the same.
Hailing from Lancaster, PA, Kris got his start in the local journalism scene and began crafting stories of all kinds. After a few years, the reality of media burnout set in, and Kris migrated the tools and skills he learned from Journalism into a more business focused application. Kris had the opportunity to collaborate on a merchant project which led him to the team at DotcomWeavers. After a 5 year B2B partnership, Kris was welcomed on board as an official team member and quickly took on the role that came most natural to him: communication.
As the Director of Sales and Marketing, Kris helps businesses architect merchant websites that solve their problems from start to finish. And working with Kris means you will always receive honest, transparent communication and feedback, from the initial sales consultation throughout a potential ongoing partnership.
Kris isn’t here to sell you a service, but he will help you understand solutions to your problems and how to best go about solving them. Outside of work, you can find Kris exploring the great outdoors of Lancaster County with his wife, two young kids, and their sweet puppy. Kris is also active in his local church as a Pastor, helps his local volunteer fire department as President, and is very connected to the community.
